Manage role restore points

Menu: Roles> Mass Changes > Manage role restore points …

The Manage role restore points form allows to create or rollback restore points for a selection of single roles or composite roles.

Action.

• Create restore point: the action to perform on the selection of roles, create a restore point for all selected roles.
• Rollback to restore point: the action to perform on the selection of roles, rollback to the restore point for all selected roles.

Select the roles needed for the selected action in the grid. Or just check the Apply action for all roles if restore point creation or rollback for all roles is needed.

Click the Results tab to start the processing.

Note: the Activate role restore point option is set in the Application settings.

What is restored ?

A composite role will restore:

• Its attributes
• Its comments
• Its short description
• Its query norm
• Its list of single roles

 

A single role will restore:

• Its attributes
• Its comments
• Its short description
• Its query norm
• Its query concept
• Its transactions
• Its authorizations

What is not restored ?

The composite role's users.

The single role's composite roles.

The single role's users.

The single role's domains.
